| Windsurfing
- 12-hour Windsurfing Course
This 12-hour, 2-day weekend course begins with
several hours of shore based instruction on a wide variety of topics.
Students will receive step-by-step coaching while practicing skills
on land with a simulator. Instructors will conduct several on-water
demonstrations prior to the students first launching. Every student
will be provided with a Bic 250 windsurfer. This is a relatively
stable windsurfer for students at the beginner level. Various sized
sails are used to enhance the learning of our various sized students.
Students will be coached individually on the water by certified
instructors from our motorized safety boat.
Course Location: All Windsurfing course
sessions are conducted at Hoover Reservoir.
Course Dates and Times: Course dates are listed
in the table below. Course times are 10:00 am - 5:00 pm each day.
Course Fee: The $130 course fee includes all windsurfers,
safety equipment, textbook, and course materials.

Gift Certificates Are Now Available
Give that special someone the gift of sailing
or windsurfing instruction. Mail a check or money order in
the amount of $130 to purchase a certificate that can be
used to enroll in any Small Boat Sailing or Windsurfing course.
When purchasing a gift certificate as a surprise gift, the
certificate and a course schedule will be sent directly to
you. The recipient of your gift may select any course date
and register by completing the included registration form
and sending it along with the gift certificate.
